Sorry if wrong place, or already posted but here's my question.

Would it be acceptable to wear a pair of Toms' shoes on a night out?

    Cheers

I wouldn't really think so. They're pretty casual in my mind. I suppose it depends on where you're going.

    Can you recommend any?

I'm 18 and am just looking for a nice pair to go with some jeans for when i'm going out on the lash :D:)

I've looked on Schuh website and couldn't find anything but the Toms

Well runners are grand, depending on where you're going and what your style is like. Toms look a bit too much like slippers though. They're grand for going around in shorts in summer but not really a jeans/night out kind of look.

In general, no ones really going to be looking at your feet, so don't overthink it. Most lads I know just go out in their regular everyday shoes.

Depends on your style, you could wear any nice trainers. Like, vans authentic. But that might not be your thing, it really depends on what else you wear. I wouldn't be a big Toms fan in general!

They're a bit too casual. Maybe ok for the pub.
