I had a terrible experience with this lot a several years back. Bought a car off them that ran out of petrol a few hundred yards up the road. Absolutely rubbish customer service too.

Sorry for bumping an old thread. :o

Yes have experience myself. Make sure to give the car a good checking over and bring a mechanic. Do NOT go near the place without a mechanic.

Had heard a few stories about it from a few friends but it was all the usual a friend of a friend. So brought someone with me and we inspected it over. I had seen 2 cars. 1 was a ****box which wasn't roadworthy. 4 bald tyres for starters along with a different colour rear bumper despite the sales man stating it was "perfect for a learner".

The other car I had in mind was ok. It needed a service despite a full service history being stamped with the previous server done only a week ago it was clearly not done. Air filter clogged and oil black as anything even on the dipstick.

Bargained down for it, took it home, serviced and the gf enjoyed learning to drive in it for about 18 months before selling and upgrading. So make sure to bring a mech if you don't know about cars and get them to look it over. Oh and bring petrol money too cos as posted above you might just make it to the station down the road with what's in it :D

I had petrol money that day but there wasn't even enough petrol in the car to get me to the (very) nearby ESSO garage. Bunch of f**king cowboys.

If you have a problem with them, why not make your own thread?

You're not helping the OP in any way by bumping a thread 5 months down the line. I'm sure the OP is not waiting for this long for feedback.

Yeah I'm just kicking myself at not realizing it either tho :D

Could have saved myself the bother of typing it all out.
