the tm g17 is actually slightly larger than the real world g17, this can cause issues with holsters but it really goes depend on both he make and model of holster, the holsters that rely on friction as a locking mechanism can be a problem with the tm glock as it will be to tight, where as those that use a locking system normally have a little more give and can take the replica

what holster are you looking at getting?

A TM will fit in a Safariland holster perfectly :) Not sure about other holsters

I would like a Fobus one with a Passive Locking system ie no buttons or levers. Will it fit? If not I will go for the Safariland then.

It will fit, but it will be tight. However, another Passive holster is the Frontline Kydex holster. (£17 from Uktactical, On offer)
this holster has ajustment screws to change the pressure on the pistol in the holster, meaning it will hold a real steel glock, and yes, Deffinately fit the TM.

thanks for the help. To firekitten: do you know if the kydex holster for glock17 by frontline can be in anyway adapted to use on a MOLLE vest?

    Superglue?

There doesnt seem to be.... though you can just tuck it into your belt... thats what a paddle holster is designed for.... Trust me, they dont flap around or wobble, I swear by belt holsters, and I run a molle plate carrier. The two dont get in the way of eachother. If you were utterly desperate to have it vest mounted, you could use the included screws, and perform an act of barbarism to the vest... but i don't quite see the absolute need for vest mount.

How would you mount it on a belt with a vest on? Tried putting the belt around my vest and it was still too loose. Whats your set up like?

    Not mine it wont.

I have a safariland glock 17 holster and a TM glock that won't slide the full way in.

You cant fit a belt and a vest? *blink*

I'm wearing a plate carrier, and riggers belt on my bdu trouseres, the belt holster slips in perfectly..

How huge is your vest that it reaches down past your waist?
