Techweek 2011!

    Week 3 (Monday 21st of February!) begins TECHWEEK

    Techweek is DCU's annual weeklong celebration of all things techy. This year's event sees RedBrick, Gamessoc, Journosoc, Strange Things, MUN, Engineering Soc, DCU Student's Union and AMS collaborating to make this year's event extra special!

    Monday - 21st
    Tuesday - 22nd

    • Cyber Bullying Workshop with the SU, Venue TBC, 1pm.
    • Web Security Talk with Richard Dalton, LG25, 1pm
    • Cyber Terrorism Simulation with Model UN, Venue TBC, 5pm.
    • Karaoke trip to Bonga with Gamessoc, Meet in the Hub, 6pm*
    Wednesday - 23rd

    Thursday - 24th

    • 3D Modelling talk with Dave Larkan at 1pm in LG25
    • Lightening Talks with EngSoc, CG03, 6:15pm.

    So all together it should be a fun packed week! :D

    Thursday :
    Social Media and Online Security seminar with Dr. Theo Lynn at 12 pm in the venue. Refreshments for all who attend

    Thursday :
    Anime Screening with Anime and Manga Society at 7pm in C104

    But it's not a true techweek without the annual iteration of the 'Sean Hand: Build Your Own PC Workshop'.
