is there a problem with TV3 series link and emmerdale on sky

A friend has a Pace HD box and uses the sky + bit a lot for soaps but today he was telling me it keeps missing TV3 emmerdale ie the series link bit fails. Anyone else had this problem and is there a workround? He uses it on all the other soaps as well and does not have a problem. gbcullen
