Tim Vine is a fantastic one liner.

He belts through them so fast that if you don't get a joke, there'll still be 100s more to come. Very very funny guy.

Never heard of him, will check him out now!

Just stumbled across Geechy Guy, appears to have been around a long time, he's pretty good!

Does Mitch Hedberg count? he's got some amazing ones.

Absolutely he does, great, great comedian. I wonder if he's been put on too high a pedestal because of his (untimely) death though?

    Thoughts on Demetri Martin?

Downloaded Tim Vine's 2008 DVD there, about 20 mins into it as this stage. Its a little too pun heavy for me and lacks an edge, but undoubtedly some pretty smart humour. Both Vine and Bo Burnham are playing the Cat Laughs festival this year actually.

    demitri martin is good too...

I think the worst time to have a heart attack is during a game of charades. Or a game of fake heartattacks...followed by naps.

Jimmy Carr who was already mentioned is great too. He packs so many jokes into his shows. I love the thing where he has come up with the shortest jokes he can.

    Venison's deer\dear isn't it,
    Stationary\stationery shop moves &
    Dwarf shortage.

Barry Mack, Conor O'Toole and Dan O'Shea have some of my favourite one-liners in Ireland, although Dan mixes it up.

Following on from what Barry said I don't consider myself a one-liner comic but other people do, ignoring the times I talk for up to five lines on a single topic. I do have lots of jokes posted to a twitter account at http://www.twitter.com/Damon_Blake if you fancy scrolling through.

Other than that Anthony Jeselnick's album is very good (a regular comedy album that is also very good is John Mulaney's The Top Part). Gary Delaney is one of the more prominent UK comics who does it (http://twitter.com/#!/garydelaney), a lot of his jokes get stolen and put on Sickipedia.

Zach Galifianakis is also amazing, he did a lot of them on his recent monologue for SNL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QnulJMA2FQ
