    Can anyone remember this one from when the people of
    Ireland had to vote a second time until we got it right ?
    Beware of any party that will not negotiate properly and stand up to
    Barroso and co, this united states of Europe project should and could
    Create a new world superpower ... which is the ultimate goal.
    And that is fine by me, once we are not screwed over by the much more
    capable politicians in Europe ...
    At the moment we need a government who will for once be accountable to the
    people of Ireland without the main desire of enriching themselves, and looking after their mates.
    Personally I think a Left leaning government would be best..
    And if possible all SF's manifesto promises to be implemented by whoever is in power ...
    In fact SF in power .... I would be willing to give them a crack at it

    You are aware that the FF-Green government issued the bank guarantee against the wishes of the other main EU leaders at the time right?

    What lisbon meant was vote yes to save the banks, so that the banks will us the money for the jobs we need. But what lisbon really meant is that our lifes will be torn upside down because we'll be the ones giving the banks money.

    Black Briar ... I was not aware of that , but I still think our politicians to date
    are not up to dealing with proper politicians
    throughout the EU , we've had a bunch of incompetent , corrupt monkeys, fixated on cronyism and holding onto their own positions ...
    we must be the laughing stock of the EU project ..

    Look at Beverly Cooper Flynn , Jackie Healy Rae(just look at him ... nothing else)
    Willie O'Dea, Bertie Ahern, Lowry ... the list goes on ... we have been sleepwalked into this ...

    There is a master stroke going on and we are being played, incredible debt being shouldered by the citizens of the country ... Who are we , what are we , where are we going ... Makes me think the Brits were right keeping their currency ..
    At this rate we are going to be said and led by Europe, we'll have no identity , our language is under attack... We'll still have crap schools,healthcare etc and we will NEVER be able to repay what we owe ... There HAS to be a better way !
    Sure we have better roads , but they are not free ... lots have tolls and more on the way the public pays all the time

    You know whe I travel to Spain and Portugal there are apartments for sale based on square footages ... Not unusual T1,T2, and T3. .. 1. 2 and 3 beds all standard square footages. They remind me of pidgin coops, in fact that's what governments want, nations of consumers living in legolands and giving free reign to the politicians ... We really need change and I don't trust any of the Vanilla politicians we have right now ..
    It really weird that I would trust Gerry Adams more than any of the rest
    I think if we take a chance it could pay off ... What have we got to lose ? We have already lost EVERYTHING, the fighting Irish ..
    Lets fight .. for ourselves and our unborn children !
    Remember .. Iceland is in recovery !!! Look at the steps they took ...
