Has anybody else had an issue when using Meteor payg broadband when you have no pass active?
My pass expired and just needed to send a mail and as I had €2 credit left I selected to opt out at €.02 per MB.
The problem no sites that use https will load, normal web browsing is fine but gmail, facebook (email clients also dont work) and banking sites bring up error page cannot be found. Just to be sure I tested on different laptop and with both linux and windows with chrome, firefox and even ie. I also check it on friends modem and the same thing happens!
Meteor say there is no know issue! but then again it's meteor and the issue could hit them on the head and they wouldn't notice

Yes. I've had same problem with https sites. I'm on a bill pay plan and was on an Edge connection using tethered iphone. Any site https site that required a login wasn't working...no matter what browser I was using. At first I thought it was my laptop but then I figured that Meteor was doing something to the http headers probably because it uses some proxy/cacheing technique that screws things up in a way that you lose session data. I'm no techie so that's my non-technical description of what I think is happening. I was in the Drogheda area at the time...if that helps for anyone.
