    If it isn`t too badly marked you can do it yourself with very fine wetndry sandpaper, finished off with good quality car wax as a seal.:)

    enamel completely gone near outlet, should i get a new acyrlic bath ?

    Its always worth reenameling a bath. With a couple of the companies you get a guarantee on the finish. Take out the phone book. I know of a couple. The problem is i m very biased when it comes to them. I got into arguements with them for talking me out of sales commision in the past.


    As to how much it costs i dont know but you can bet its cheaper than replacing the bath and associated tiling

    Try renu-bath they one of the best , I think could cost a bit more than 50 euro though , I'm sure they could give you a quote over the phone, I would keep the cast iron bath if you can , an acrylic bath does not even compare to it
