Is there anyone on this forum who would help a brother out by coming over to their place of residence and giving a dig out with some cabinet wiring work? :o

I'm colour blind myself (not great for electrical wiring) and no nothing about the inner workings of cabinets. It's fine reading how to do it and all, but if someone could drop over to keep an eye on what I'm doing it'd be a big help. Hopefully wirin a cabinet is like riding a bike, if you've done it once, you never forget how!

I have yet to even get the new buttons/sticks (ordering them after I post this), so I'm unsure if my wiring is still in workable. I just pulled out a few cables this morning that I probably shouldn't have.

I'd offer but I'm probably about as much use with a soldering iron as you are :)Where are you based?

I'm in cabra Luas, on the northside.

Finally bit the bullet and ordered my stuff there, so hopefully have it by the weekend :D

I'm kinda hoping soldering won't come into it ... judging from what I dismantled they all seem to be crimped wires that snapped while trying to take them off (as opposed to actually pulling out a soldered wire). Unfortunately due to my lack of cabinet skills I forgot to label each one I disconnected, so I don't know what goes where :o
