    Hi guys,

If you're having trouble deciding what you want to do this summer, why not consider working for TECS in the south of Spain.
TECS is recruiting enthusiastic and hard working students to spend up to eight weeks working in one of our six camps: Family Camp, Star Camp, Sports Camp, Little Village, Magic Village and Go Camp.
The Summer School programme is an activity based language learning programme in which language learning is combined with fun activities like: sports, adventure, excursions, music, computers, art, handicrafts, nature, songs, games, parties. The objective is for Spanish Children to learn English whilst enjoying themselves in a camp atmosphere. Each summer dozens of young people from across the world choose TECS as their place of work. You do not need Spanish to work with TECS.
TECS is a recruiting in DCU and St Pats on Thursday 14th April. To apply check out http://www.tecs.es/employment/

Hi, is this a paid work? If so can you please provide any details. Also do you need TEFL or other similar qualifications?

    Thanks

Hi it is paid but obviously the wages differ depending on the job you have with TECS.
To teach, you do need a TEFL qualification or something similar. I didn't have that last year so I was a specialist monitor (Tennis coach).
I earned 150 per week (but food and accommodation was paid for) and I also got bonuses - TECS are great for that.
Thus, don't go over there with the view to making a fortune. The cost of living however is very cheap and no need to worry about getting accommodation or meals as its all provided.
Do check out the website - www.tecs.es . No spanish is required (you will though pick it up quickly) as its all through english.
It was the most challenging but most amazing summer of my life and I couldn't recommend it more to anybody.

    Niall
