Fulcrum 7's or Mavic Aksiums

Hi guys, just want to get some opinions here, I need a new, but cheap wheelset, I badly buckled my rear wheel 2 and a half weeks ago when I highsided my bike at 50+km/h and cracked a few ribs.
the wheel in question was a fulcrum 7, which I found quite reliable for 2 years.
I also have had Mavic Aksiums, which were OK too, but I found they flexed a bit more than the 7's under my bulk.(probably due to the lower spoke count)
My Dilemma is, this, I have found some 7's on a Geman site which I can get for just shy of €140 incl delivery, or wait and see exactly how cheap the Wednesday deal on the Aksiums is going to be in CSS (they are currently €184.50), and if the last 2 deals are anything to go by, there will be a sizeable reduction in price.

Personally I think I prefer the 7's, but might not be able to resist the price that the Aksiums might go for. ( I am NOT a weight weenie, so that aspect does not bother me).

Any insight as to what you lot might do in this situation????

Hey xz, the Aksiums are only €150 in CSS... I bought a pair last week and as far as I know the deal is still on...

    Give them a call....

They are going to be lower than that Wednesday coming, through their Wednesday web offer, this weeks one was Look Keo2 Max Contador pedals, down from €110 to €50, I just dont know, how much lower though

The free hub in my Mavics Aksiums had to be replaced only after about 200km from new, that said since the replacement they've been mint. It's supposedly a fault in them

The bearings in my 7s went after a couple of years, so I guess that ain't too bad. I've had a set now since 2008 and I use them for commuting and winter training. I'm happy with them. I've also had the Aksiums but I broke the front one in a crash so the rear is a turbo wheel now.

Much of a muchness I think.

Just ordered Racing 5's instead from these guys http://www.bike-discount.de/shop/k632/a15983/racing-5-black.html?mfid=451 €176.95 incl del. The 7's retail at €129 + €7.95 delivery, I thought, what the heck for an extra €40 ;)

    Cycle Super Store I presume.

I've been running a set of Aksiums for the last year. No problems with them, they've held up well through the year with my weight. I've had to true the rear twice for slight wobbles (only two or three mm).
