Polling Cards.

    It's my first time voting and I just registered to vote on the last day you could.Thing is my family who are already registered got their polling cards in the post yesterday but mine never came.Will it eventually arrive or do I have to collect it?

    It should arrive. If it doesn 't bring photo ID and proof of address to the polling station and you will be able to vote.

    Polling cards seem to be late in coming out. Go onto www.checktheregister.ie and you should be listed, if not you're on the supplementary list, so ring the council for confirmation and they will confirm your registration.

    Thanks.I'm not on that list so I assume I'm on the supplementary list.

    If you registered to vote on the last day, you are on the Supplementary Register. The polling cards for the Supplementary Register are printed after the cards for the ordinary Register. Therefore you should get yours later than the rest of your family, probably the start of next week.
