i set a large file (~10GB) to download in dTa, except it causes firefox to hang, and i have to kill the process. now every time i open dTa, it starts downloading the file, and the whole process repeats itself. i'm not able to delete it in the manager. is there some way to get rid of the download list manually?

I tried DTA once an binned it after 5 minutes,

Free Download Manager is a standalone app, works with torrents too!

Do you mean the downloads window for FF? Why not just disconnect the internet, it should stop trying to download 10Gb.

dTa works for me, think it's a very good addon. I prefer having dTa integrated into firefox, makes it much easier rather than having another program. have IDM but don't really like it for downloading.
