Are there still Dell Account Managers in Ireland?

    Hi there...

My company have been Dell customers for years and up until a few months ago had an Irish Account manager who was always quick to respond and very helpful.

When she left I was given a 'point of contact' in India and they've been changed twice since then. The service has gone out the window, when I last sent an email looking for a quote for approx. 10 PCs and Laptops I was told to go online, get the prices from the website and send it to them and he'd see if he could beat the price!

I have a sneaking suspicion that we don't buy enough equipment to be treated as an important customer and we've basically been relegated to the 'home user' type account. But before I start ringing Dell here in Ireland and talking to Customer Services, I just wanted to check to see if there are any people here who still have Account Managers in Ireland, so I can try to get one back for us!

    Thanks...

    J.

We are a big user of Dell and have an Irish account manager but would be in the 1000's of pc bought per year

    Thanks for your reply...

I reckon we're just not considered big enough and have been farmed off to India, but at least when I ring Customer Support now I can ask for an Irish Account manager knowing that they exist!

    Thanks again...

    J.
