What kind of adapter cables will I need? Bear in mind I also want to retain the use of the radio controls built into the steering wheel.

There are 2 leads needed. The iso wiring harness for the radio link, and the patch lead for the steering wheel controls link. I've used that guy before and can't recommend him highly enough, great ebay shop.
