Strange Toshiba Problem

    I have a Toshiba L350D-201 (PSLE8E) Laptop.

After the BIOS Screen, the laptop beeps - like a key-stuck problem. I have replaced the keyboard with a brand new one, but the problem remains.

I can use a external USB keyboard top access the BIOS settings and navigate the onboard keyboard is dead (both old and new) and both when a USB external one is connected or not.

Any ideas? Could the connector port on the laptop for the internal keyboard be hammered?

I have reset the BIOS by holding down the INS key when powering on, which does bring up the BIOS setup screen, though the keyboard then fails.

Bamboozled to say the least! :D
