You can watch it on the TV3 website under TV3 live.

This should be good. Gilmore still hasn't made an appearance on his show yet, I wonder why.

If FF were winning, there's no way Martin would go on this tonight.

IMO MM is putting VB in his box, VB is like a broken record same sh!t different show. MM is just been honest and is telling it how it is and cuts out the waffly politician talk :)

Ironic- if Micheal Martin hadn't wrecked the health service, they might have been able to help him with his amnesia :pac:

Hate Fianna Fail, think Michael Martin is a con-man, but I have to agree with this - mostly. Don't think there's much honesty there, but Michael Martin is running rings around him.

martin had 14 years to do what he has proposed, if he didn't do it them he won't do it now. And that applies to all FF policies.

yes we are telekon, I mean hes open and honest and direct which has unsettled VB, imagine Joan Burton in MM shoes right now, there would be sh!t everywhere coz thats all she would be talking

First time ever I'm watching RTE instead of TV3 at this hour, Martin is such an insignificance I can't be bothered.

PS the Late debate is very good, hope RTE keep this format up instead of the awful Primetime/Frontline format.

I completly agree with you but my comment is just based on the interview tonight and how MM is dealing with VB

Browne is ambiguous at best and he was relatively easy on Gormless the other night as well. He is probably a closet Fianna Failer.

I have to agree. MM was firing on all cylinders. Pity he didnt take over the job years ago.

Pity he didn't do his job years ago while we were also paying him to do so.

Actually, scratch that - if he'd done what he was paid to do - i.e. represent the best interests of the country - at any time in the last 3 years it would have done nicely.

    What ???? And I missed it ?

Is this seriously the same MM that only last week was complaining about dirty politics having reinstated Willie O'Dea ?

Martin showed his Brian Cowen/FF side tonight - rude, arrogant and totally blameless.

He said that he made mistakes, but was unable (or unwilling) to identify any of those mistakes and got all high and mighty with VB. I see some people (idiots IMO) fell for this tactic.

MM is diffo no Brian Cowen.

VB was trying to be so negative towards FF and MM tonight and to a certain extend he is right but with 1 week before an election do we really have to listen to what mistakes FF made again, FF role in this country is over, imagine if the interview was MM just telling VB the mistakes he made......sleepy time

Given that approx 12% still consider them suitable, a few more reminders and reality checks can't hurt. Mind you, if they haven't seen sense by now, it's probably a lost cause.

At least MM appeared with VB, not like Inda.

VB offers nothing by way of insightful political interviews. He can hardly talk, he puts soundbites in the mouths of his guests, and focuses too much on irrelevant issues. Only the senseless would take the show seriously and MM knows this so he went on to try and cling on to the braindead who still vote FF

Its poor VB has the amnesia.VB couldn't recall what his questions to MM were at times because VB loves listening to himself and he is like a broken record.MM made mince meat of VB and he took the soap box from under him.I dont think any of the other leaders would have handled the interview as well as him.
yes FF need a lesson in this election but MM is the best leader that is on display at the moment.
