Does anyone know of any South Dublin Tri Clubs particularly welcoming to beginners? Thanks.

Have a look at this list. List clubs all over the country, but you'll find 4 or 5 in Dublin.
    Pulse HQ is in Tallaght

I live near UCD and train with 3DTri (3dtri.com). The fact they're mostly based on the Northside doesn't cause any issues.

The pool swim sessions are on in Belvedere pool in the city and open water session alternate between seapoint and bull island/wooden bridge, depending on numbers.

Weekend Cycles' go from the Phoenix park on Sundays but as it's on the weekend it's managable. There are quiet a few southsiders in the club and if you can swing a northside cyel on the weekend then it i'd highly recommend 3D.

    Otherwsie Pulse as mentioned above.

    Good luck!

Piranha has a lot of southside members too - Tuesday run sessions are based at UCD and many of the weekend cycle sessions leave from the Yellow House (Rathfarnham). The beginners programme has just started so your timing is good!
