KART M14 EBR useful info

    hiya,

After struggling to find technical info on my KART M14 EBR, I wanted to make this helpful thread.
    In particular it's magazines.
As I discover more facts/info about the gun, I'll post it here.

    Magazines:
It would appear that typically there are two types of M14 magazine: one with a completely flat top (image A below), and one with a little 'step' on the top (image B) below.
The KART M14 EBR only takes the flat type (image A below).
The only problem then, is that there are a few different makes to choose from. I have discovered that the G&P 160rd M14 magazine fits and fires with my KART M14 EBR. This was a relief.
I hope it helps other KART M14 EBR owners to know this :)

CYMA, King Arms and as you just stated, G&P all make flat top M14 mags. I previously tested both the CYMA and King Arms mags in the KART and they work.

awesome to hear mate: that's more good news for KART EBR owners :)

Thank you for posting. Now we have several options for magazines which we know will work.

    Thanks mate :)

Yeah G&G & Classic Army are the only M14's that use the slot cut M14 mags
    *As far as I know

I find that the G&G M14 mags a bit of a pain to seat into the G&G M14 magwell
Where as the flat top mags seat great in the EBR.

Weirdly enough G&G SR25 mags actually fit and feed in a KART EBR (I have a SR25 said I would try them:P)
All the mags need is a piece to be added to the mag to keep them tight against the mag release

I think they look a bit cooler with a more Vietnam style cut shape to them
The KART EBR mags are cool looking also ;)
