    Hi

I have a 01 Transit 2.5 TD and I'm currently getting about 23mpg or less. Is this normal for the MPG'age for the van, or is there a way to get some more out of it?

Check the egr is not blocked/siezed, clean out the intake manifold, give it a good service, inc the airfilter, correct oil and decent filter, check the brakes are not binding, wheel bearings are not fecked, all going well, you should get it up to 24/26 mpg(joking)

EGR was cleaned and blanked about 3 months ago. Intake manifold was cleaned too. All filters and oils were changed about 5K miles ago, and brakes and bearings are fine, as its not too long after the DOE.
