saw some great ones in poland but hard to describe them
they were like them outdoor toilets ya see in the old films with four big legs and a ladder and 180 degree views
and were lined with carpet to keep in the heat and reduce noise
and had a bench in them
with a vodka glass and a botlle of vodka lol

I am i the process of coming up with plans in my head for a high seat. The tree that i am going to use that gives me the best advantage point is a 30 year old pine that is overlooking a clearfell and some lush green fields , that is on a exposed windswept site , so there would be some sort of movement to the tree.
what i am thinking about is a permement stucture attached to the tree and the ladder chained to the base of the tree so it only need to be unlocked and attached to give you access.

Sorry,it's totally in German.BUT it has all the building plans for building tree stands up to towers, and how to build them safly.Just studying the pics will give you a good idea of what they are on about.
One trouble I see with building these here is,getting long and strong enough poles of timber. The Germans use spruce, larch or fir poles, and I've never seen those grown here[bar sitka spruce for fence posts] for outside building purposes.
