Stephen Wall is the Green Party's Limerick Candidate.

    - From his Website:

Welcome to the website of Stephen Wall. I have been selected to run for the Green Party in the Ballyfermot- Drimnagh ward for the local elections 2009. My website contains information on my policies, my campaign and the Green Party. Please contact me at stephen@stephenwall.ie should you have any queries at all relating to what you see!

    - Wheres he running next? The Dutch Fishmongery Elections?

What sort of inbred Muppet sees this idiocy going on and gives the likes of Stephen Wall or the Green Party a vote????

Shelia Cahill is the Green Party's Limerick Candidate. Not that it matters to me what name they put out as their candidate. That party will get no vote from me.

Sorry Raiser I had not even heard of that Ward guy. He is the candidate for the county with Cahill being for the city. Only checked after my first reply to you.

I had gotten the crappy leaflets pushed through my letterbox for Shelia Cahill (and the person dropping them in got them handed back) so I thought she was the candidate.

So the Greens managed to drop the leaflets for the wrong candidate into the wrong area then in my case. I should have gotten leaflets for the Green candidate I never heard of. :D

The Greens just don't understand that they won't even exist after the election. Captain Planet and his cronies have had 4 years of taxing the **** out of us for ridiculous "environmental polices". Anybody who votes them in for another 4, so they can maybe introduce a tax on air this time, is a ****ing tree hugger or an idiot. End of story.

Who's that? Sheila Cahill of the Hungarian Socialist Workers Party flown in by Gormley and Eamonn Ryan to win a few lost votes from the deranged and terminally confused?

    - What a joke :(

    Hi there,

I'm a volunteer on the Sheila Cahill campaign, just wanted to clear up a few points:

An Post post out leaflets on behalf of every General Election candidate free of charge (the candidate or party has to pay for the printing). The leaflets go to every registered voter in the constituency. These are the only leaflets that we're distributing (we are not pushing any other leaflets through doors like other parties). If you got a leaflet for a candidate in the wrong constituency, then it must have been an An Post error.

Sheila lives in the city, she's a small business owner and is campaigning on a platform of clean politics, a real economy, a better Limerick. More details at http://limerickvotegreen.com

    Cheers.

Hope the Greens and FF get desecrated at the election that they deserve. Anyone who represents these parties will not get my vote.

I've no prior knowledge of Sheila Cahill, which is I must point out a main point on this thread, ie that the Green Party seem to be drafting in any old Gawper from anywhere available to run come polling day in the democratic equivalent of throwing enough mud to see if any sticks..... But given the knowledge I do have then it must be pointed out that her political prowess is somewhere between negative and negligible as she clamours to climb onto the rotten hull of the very sinking Ship her Green Party Colleagues so shamelessly raided and defiled.

    - What she hopes to gain from such a shoddy platform is beyond me and in my opinion she should be ashamed to condone their behaviour at this late stage where their astounding self-serving profiteering and ignorant aloof arrogance are in plain view for all to see.

    For shame.
