    Are any Irish institutions offering interest only mortgages?

    Doubt it. Interest Only is now only giving to those with exsisting mortgages and are now in difficulty.

    That's the situation we're in. It's just that I'd prefer to agree a longer period because our circumstances are not going to improve -at least not until an inheritance comes our way.

    Ok, original post did not make that clear. Approach your exsisting lender to discuss your options as there are too man varibles to give advise without knowing more information.
