I like the idea of a black box for bikes, after my last accident the Garmin data was a great help in determining blame and i imagine video would have been even better. However i dont think an iPhone app is the right way to go about it. Apart from the battery life, I'd feel very concious of having an expensive and fragile iPhone on my handlebars. I wouldnt rate its chances of survival too high in an accident.
