Water Well Pump

I just drilled my well and need to decide on a pump.

Up to now I had decided on a standard pump feeding a storage tank in the garage and running my pressurised water system from there.
Now it appears there is a second option, namely a variable speed/constant pressure pump.

From quick googling, this looks like a good option:
    Pro's are:
Eliminates the need for the storage tank and extra pump for pressurised system (This will also eliminate associated lagging and insulating of these)
One pump to run instead of two?
    Con's:
More expensive, but I think if the Pro's are true, overall it might be cheaper.

What are boardies experiences of well pumps.
Has anybody got a variable speed pump?

    Thanks

Have you not spoke to the person who sunk your well? Those lads can advise you on what you need.

Depending on the bore and the ground conditions at the well you could have to go for different types of systems.

A submersible pump provides instant presssure and are a general all round good pump to use.

In choosing your pump you will need to determine the head and also the flow rate your looking for.
