    I see chris mccormack is aiming for London; has anyone gone back from IM distance triathlons to be competitive on shorter courses?

    I guess it will depend on his 10k times, since thats all it will come down to.

    I'd be surprised if he qualifies to be honest.

    It's a pity the course in London will be so flat- hardly seems any point watching the swim and bike. A cynic would say the course is ideally set-up for the current British triathletes' strengths.

    The big four use to do olympic & IM in the same year. Macca has been doing 1 or 2 short distances a year. he did Alcatraz (apologies for spelling) last year.
