Interesting piece on RTE last Sunday on hurling in Galway. Hard to believe it's been so many years since they won an All Ireland.

Could this be the year they do it?

Ollie Canning will be a big loss but they ran Tipp very close last year and are getting a more settled team than in many years. For anyone who missed the programme, it's on youtube:

We're in the hunt. I'd say we're probably the 3rd best team in the country ATM but after seeing Tipp do so well last year and their U-21s killing our lads its difficult to see us winning the AI.

Leinster is a possibility but it all depends on Killkenny.
