Vodaphone at Home & Edimax Router

Hi

We signed for Vodaphone at Home and were told all it takes is a plug out and a plug in by Vodaphone to connect our home broadband.
No it doesn't!

We have Edimax Router which their tech guys won't help with, so anybody out there have the same problem.

We cannot get past a drop down box after we enter our VPI: 8 and our VCI: 35. A box come up wanting us to scan for the "PVC" and then tells us in very bad grammar that no exist.

Any help any body come across this before.
