Saw the trailer a week or two back, and thought it looked truly awful!

It is set in 1988 and stars Anna Faris, Topher Grace, Dan Fogler and a blonde Kristen Stewart lookalike aka Teresa Palmer

    Music video

    spitting image of K.Stew!

That music vid is a blast, great 80's nostalgia....Topher was excellent doing his Marti impression! :D

It reminds me of a movie that's trying to reclaim the classic 80's teen comedy... but 'Hot Tub Time Machine' has already done it, and better.

Bit off-topic... but could this be the best cover version of 'Take Me Home Tonight'? :pac:

    ** shudder **

According to IMDB it's had a major spotty history, shot in early 2007 and was put on the shelf, general snooping suggests it's the drug use....but people wo've seen it says it's because it's shiite.

It was called Kids In America originally: http://www.aintitcool.com/node/33574

I saw the other Kids In America movie, it has the longest kiss in movie history, movie was pretty cack though:

Brutal pile of utter shiite!...dreadful, not a single laugh....horrid script, bad acting, no redeaming features....save for the music, i'll give it that...the music was great.

Everything else was just woeful beyond belief....no wonder it collected dust for three years!!

Watched it last night, and I'd have to agree Rich.

Very unfunny... don't waste your time!

Maybe because I had no expectations whatsoever but I'm after watching this and really, really enjoying it. It's not laugh out loud funny but it does raise numerous smiles and was just immensely watchable. I'd happily sit down and watch it again some time in the future and when the price is right I can see myself picking up the Blu Ray.
