    I was watching the debate last night on tg4, and michael martin answered a question about tourism and referred to a masive gathering of Irish to come to Ireland from around the world in 2012, (referred to as "the gathering"), anyone know any more on this? just saw it here..

    The Gathering, sounds like some sort of mysterious sci-fi programme from the likes of J.J. Abrams that Sky One would advertise the shìte out of before it eventually gets cancelled by the time it's halfway through it's 1st season.

    Anyways, I'm still expecting that mass cult suicide pact to happen leading up to "The End!" in 2012. Probably in America or Russia.

    Was it this? I joined this on facebook when the page started up,he won some competition with his idea, just looked it up there now after seeing this thread and a few days ago he said his idea had shown up in the fianna fail proposals with no credit given to him at all
