AMP Question

    Figured this would be the best place to ask! Picked up an E46 coupe for the missus this evening and there is one of these in the boot, a JBL Grand Tourer thing connected to a large box

    Don't really know a whole lot about ICE so my noob question is
    - What is it?
    - What does it do?
    - If I take it out will it affect the radio working etc?
    - Is it worth anything second hand?

    - What is it?

    Its an amplifier and sub with sub box.

    - What does it do?

    It drives speakers or possibly a speaker (guessing a speaker as there a sub box in there also). Verify this before you pull it out

    - If I take it out will it affect the radio working etc?

    No the radio will work just fine but you wont have a disco in the boot. You may loose speakers if its driving speakers Verify this before you pull it out (if it has multiple outputs or one output)

    - Is it worth anything second hand?

    Yes. Someone will buy it if you stick it on adverts. As for valuing you'll have to google the model of the amp and stick it on adversts.ie/ebay

    Its the small box with jbl and the speaker that have value.

    Or you could get your wife into drum and bass. (shudder)

    Cool. I listened to the best Roni Size and LTJ Bukem had to offer back in the 90's, not her taste though I think!

    I'll have a good look at it this evening, see what its hooked up to etc.
