Bolox of a van is hard to start from warm!

My vw caddy is starting to annoy me now. Its starts grand from cold everytime, but when its had a good run and the engine heats up, it tends to tick over for 4-5 seconds before it'l start for me again. It does this everytime now when i start it from warm. The engine managment light is also constantly on too. It's been serviced just over 1000 miles ago, had four new injectors, and when i had the diagnostic done at the same time, all that showed up was low fuel pressure or something. So after investigating this fault my mechanic found a loose wire which has something to do with a fuel sensor. He fixed it, wiped the fault and said the engine managment light was now staying off. The following day when i had it home, this light came back on again and has been on since. The hard start problem, by the looks of it was never fixed at all. Other than the hard starting problem, the van is bullet proof, Drives fine, no other problems. Anyone with experience of this all?:)

I had a similar problem with a car, two cars in fact and it was the camshaft position position. Vicious hard to start when hot but started fine when cold.

Maybe go to a differant mechanic
