Hey, I am trying to get a CV together to start sending to recruitment companies coming up to summer. My current CV is your typical 2 page microsoft word template with just the usual info like all my previous jobs, and school/ college results, hobbies etc. I wouldn't even try and send it to a recruitment company though as I can only assume the standard is far higher than my lazy job. I understand the careers service do workshops and stuff about how to do a professional graduate CV but haven't gotten any of these in a while. Does anyone know if they help students put together CV, such as advice and stuff of layout, style and what to include?

    Thanks

9th March - Careers day at the Helix, there will be a free CV clinic there.

This is what careers has to say about CVs.
