Hi I have a Beko / flavel TD162 W dryer . The belt broke so I replaced it yesterday , however when i opened it the drum was actually seized so I thought the back bearing but no it was fine . The front of the drum that runs on plastic with a felt seal was actually where it was seized , I removed the drum and when I refitted it it turned fine so i put on the new belt but it has snapped again after only been used twice and the drum is seized at the front again. There appears to be 4 wedge like blocks at the top of the housing that the drum runs on ( Are these brakes ) or used to align the drum could one of these be causing the problem.
