Gucci watch - negotiate price?

I'm looking to buy a gucci watch - costs around 700 euro. I only want to buy in a jewellers not online. So far one outlet offered me a 10% reduction on the price - anyone have experience on how to get a good price in a jewellers? I know the mark up is huge - at least 50% so it would be great to get a reasonable deal.

Explain to them exactly what you told us, you want to buy one, you will buy one, but want a fair price, and see what they say

Research prices online them approach a manager and tell them the price they are going for online but say you would rather buy locally and will buy from them if they match the price. I've no idea if this would work but it's worth a try.
