    Hi guys,

I'm trying to close my company for the last while but there's always something wrong or i'm missing something or enough time has passed for me to miss another form. My last hindering block is the letter of no objection from the revenue. Is there any chance there is a physical building I can go to in order to get this all done? doing it by post is taking forever and making the whole thing far more drawn out!

    Thanks in advance

Have all returns been filed with the CRO
Have all returns been filed with the Tax office and numbers cancelled.
Has the company no assets or liablilities.

If so You could try but they may tell you to send in a letter
Office of the Revenue Commissioners, Companies Unit, City Centre Revenue District, 9/15 Upper O'Connell Street, Dublin 1.

For more information regarding the issue of letter of no objection you can contact the Companies Unit at phone number 01 8655000 Ext: 32989 / 32991 / 32993 / 32994 / 32995 / 32997. Alternatively you can email to citycoy@revenue.ie

    Hi

They will want a letter as they have to follow their own internal procedures and checks in this matter. Turning up in person will not make it happen any quicker.

    Kind Regards
