Should I see a medium?

    Hey.

A few friends of mine went to a medium a few weeks ago and they all got on so well that some of the rest of the group have made up to go and invited me to go as well. I agreed to go as a bit of fun, but since then I've been in two minds about it.

I'm not a believer but I don't disbelieve either. I've read a lot about cold-reading and learned about things to look out for, but at the end if the day, this is something I think I want to believe in. So I'm afraid of what will be said to be if I go.

I've been having some problems with the death of my father (which was over ten years ago), and I know if this woman starts talking about him I'll break down into tears. But if she doesn't mention him at all, that would be somehow worse, if that makes sense. I've been having some dreams about what a bad experience I will have as well, so this might be my own way of telling myself that this is something I should pass on. What do ye think?

imo youve answered your own question...steer clear

whatever about having a bit of "fun" with a psychic, imo the dead should be left well alone and theres so much trouble that can be caused in someones life from visiting mediums...imo of course

If youre already stressed and worried about going, then its not for you, and pass on it.

This has 'bad idea' written all over it OP. There's no good outcome from this.

Better off going to a therapist or something to help you with the grief.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I knew myself that it wasn't a good idea, but needed to hear it from somewhere else. I'm not in the frame of mind for it. :)

If you are really not prepared to face that situation than either you can ask the medium to don't talk about it or give it a pass altogether.
