Sat March 5th Live @ the Retro Revival Club

Main Stage: THEE VICARS (UK) w/ CHEAP FREAKS & THE BLACK STANDS

Guest DJs Rosco Urge, Gav Icon & Nick Wray
@ Sweeney’s Bar (formerly Le Cirk) Dame St. Dublin

Doors: 9pm till 2.30am. Adm: €10 (on door only)
Ground Floor Late Show: The Vagabonds (FREE)

Thee Vicars are 3 teenagers from Bury St Edmunds UK. Influenced by the likes of Billy Childish, The Mummies and The Sonics they have caught the ears of The Horrors, King Khan and more recently the Black Lips who hand picked them to support them on their tour of Scandinavia in 2010. Mojo and Vice magazine were very quick to pick up on the snarlish Buzzcocks meets Hives garage punk racket coming out of Bury St Edmunds.

The Buzz: Thee Vicars are thee most authentic garage punk band this side of The Mummies. Vice Magazine

'Psychotic garage squall from Bury St Edmunds who scream and shout over a backdrop that melds The Black Lips trash to The Sonics punk.' Mojo Magazine

File next to: The Black Lips, The Buzzcocks, and The Mummies.

    Saturday Night Folks

Prepare yourselves for a night of lairy garage beats and 60s tinged pop-rock.

Basically, they dress tight, play tighter, and sing like their nuts are on fire.

Thee Vicars are like some mutant time capsule freaks: 3 never-aging teens that look like The Beatles but sound Sonics.

Kick off at 9pm till 2.30am
