Kettlebells - Will I /Won't I?

    Apologies if Im posting in the wrong section!! Basically, I've just booked a kettlebells work shop with a trainer for this evening and am having second thoughts! Basically, I am male (as my username suggests!!), 28 and have been overweight since my mid teens. Up til last Sept I was tipping 20 stone. Since then I've lost over 3.5 stone and have taken up walking and running. Wanna up the game now a bit and speed up the weight loss. I don't do gyms, never been inside one and as I have 2 small babies I cant afford the time a membership should be given. I came across Kettlebells this morning, just rang and made the appointment and now Im having a crap attack!!! Have I done the right thing? My reasoning was once I do the workshop and get to grips with technique by going to a few classes I will be able to do this at home.

    Has anyone any experience of kettlebells? Recommendations? Advice?

    I'd recommend attending the class, once shown the technique's you can get a great workout at home (20 mins), I'd recommend Steve Cotter on you-tube for some good workout ideas / suggestions.
