iPhone 4 - SMS Problem

Hey, I'll try keep this short.

Basically, I have an iPhone 4 with the 3 network. For some reason there are 2 of my friends numbers that just will not receive texts from my phone.

What's bugging me is that it sends the message ok from my phone but they just don't receive them at all.

I've delete them from my contacts, re-entered them, saved different ways, everything you can imagine.

Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem before and came up with a solution?

    Thanks!

Have they received texts from you before you got the phone?

Have you been with three all the time or did you port over from another network?

What network(s) are your friends on?

They're only people I've met since I got the phone unfortunately. One of them is Meteor and the other is O2.

I was with O2 before I got the iPhone and I swapped over to 3.

It's just baffling me why it wont work, because I can call them no problem.

For now download the free version of JellySms or Eirtext and set it up. You'll be able to send texts. Also have one of them send you a text and reply to it, see what happens.

Sounds like an incomplete port to me - can you definitely send texts to other people on Meteor and O2?

@naasrd - Yeah I have Eirtext already, that works ok but you know yourself its gets pretty annoying switching programs every 2minutes:(

@seamus - Yeah 100% I've loads of other people on all networks I can send texts to, it just happens to be these 2. The only thing I can think of is I got both of these numbers by them ringing & texting me first, and then I saved the number into my phone from that. That's the only thing I can think of that could have caused a problem. But saying that, I've deleted their numbers and re-entered them manually etc.

Still no luck.. I've literally tried everything and google'd my heart out. No-one seems to be having the same problem. :pac:
