    I was woundering if anyone has the Openbox s9 in there home and how do they find it, thinking about putting it in my home

    I have one. very easy to use.
    only missing factor is 7day EPG for sky

    im new to this so sorry for any stupid questions i ask, can you get bbc/itv etc as well as all sky movies sport, also do i need broadband I was told i need to pay yearly sub of about £160 as i need to be connected to a server to get username and password

    What your asking about there is called cardsharing and it's illegal and is not to be discussed here, google is your friend.

    Irish and EU law.
    It's Theft of Service in Ireland.

    It's also immoral, nasty parasitical activity. If you don't want to pay for a Pay TV service, don't use it.

    Much more Missing than 7 day EPG:
    BBC Interactive Text (No MHEG5)
    Sport/Special programs Interactive Video,
    Multiscreen News/Sport
    Auto re-tuning of Freesat channels.

    Unless you are subscribing to Mainland European TV packages it's a waste of money. For UK FTA TV a "Freesat HD" box is best.

    Getting Pay TV without the proper subscription isn't just Copyright violation (which is civil law with unlimited damages) but criminal "Theft of Service" with fixed penalties.

    Never heard of them.
