Shower problems

We had an electric shower in the last place we rented and you could pee quicker. When we built our house 4 years ago we put a 300L cold tank in the shed with a pump attached to make all showers power showers. So far so good however lately the power began to die down. The shower is controlled by two taps on a bar type fixture. The one on the left controls the flow, and the one on the right the temp. I took it off the wall and found two small filters inside which I cleaned, some improvement. However it is not anything like its full strength. This barrel shape seems to have no means of opening it up to clean any inner muck. Any ideas folks?
