    Hi,

Can anyone tell me what is the recommeded "rear" toe setting for a Subaru Impreza wrx 2006 model. Should it be toed in or out or have a zero setting.

    Any advice greatly appreciated.

Are you looking for the factory settings or performance/track setttings?

The factory setting is 0 which is neutral, but you can dial in some positive Toe to lighten up the rear end a little(or a lot if you prefere) or some negative toe will keep the rear end in line.

The above depends on what you have done with the front settings though.

Factory settings more so. I recently got my car tracked with the front settings at zero and the left rear is zero, but the right rear is toed in slightly and the car slightly feels like it is crabbing on the road..

Well if you set everything to 0 then you'll be fine, adjusting the toe in and toe out is just fine tuning the handling. The camber/castor/set back etc can have as much effect as the toe so you need to have all these set properly on a car like that.

Thanks for that. I'll set all toe settings to zero and hope the handling is better. Camber /castor settings are the original factory settings. Never changed since i bought the car.

If you have ever driven the car on a road, they have changed. All suspension settings will move over time in normal driving not to mention running over speed ramps/bumps/potholes.

Its a road going car, i dont use for track events, and the car isnt modifed in any way regarding the suspension. Thanks again for your advice.
