Camcorder for low-light situations

My current JVC camcorder is rubbish in low-light situations.

Can anyone recommend a camcorder which is good in low-light, within a €150 - €300 price range. Doesn't have to be high-def.

Or are all camcorders in this price range rubbish in low-light?

    Thanks!

PS Hope this is the correct forum

I honestly don't know if you can get one at that price. Maybe have a look around for a 2nd hand Sony VX2100 (though that would still be well above your budget I'd say)

On the other hand, you could buy an on-camera light for that price and stick it on your camcorder. Is that an option?

Yeah, the VX2100 is a bit pricey alright. A light on a camcorder isn't an option. I'll keep researching...thanks!
