First Date Help!

    im going on my very first date ever tonight, i also suffer from social phobia disorder so im REALLY panicking. im taking this girl to a quiet bar for a few drinks.. should i bring her a flower or flowers when collecting her? or is it too cheesy and maybe leave it if there was a second date? i just need tips and help from people experienced. i have tried googled this but one website will say i should bring her flowers, and another website says not to for the second date. also any tips id be grateful!!!

    Chill! This is a first date. Don't try to over-impress her with flowers, etc. Try to relax, have a friendly chat, and get to know each other.

    No flowers.
    Iron your clothes.
    Don't wear too much after shave or cologne.
    Smile and listen.
    Clean teeth.
    Clean shaven.
    Polish your shoes.
    Trimmed and clean fingernails.
    Open doors, pull out chairs, take coats.
    Walk to cab to her door.

    Keep the conversation open and friendly. No ex's. No dark stuff.

    And relax! It should be FUN first and foremost.
