I'm looking for an element for my oven and I'm just wondering does anyone know of any shops that would supply such an Item In the North Cork area. I can also travel to Cork or Limerick Cities.

The oven is a powerpoint double oven, Model number PP707SS.

I have found it online here, But the price seems very high to me.

Thanks in advance for any help.

No joy, They don't stock the part.

    Any other suggestions?

Under your original link it also lists this element as suitable for Roma 60, so an alternative Quinnspares part number would be 082613508.

    Thanks for the help.

I was able to source a generic element locally from Mallow Electrical Wholesale on Muddy Hill. €40, Which seemed liked a good price to me.

Jobs a good 'un now, Although I did have to take off the back in the end due to losing a connection down the back.

My only concern now is the element appears to be glowing red hot. Is this usual for a new element. I've never noticed it before now.

you put in a different kw element - your old one was 2.4 kw - most generic or universal fits are 2 kw so it will perform different - will have to work harder to supply the same amount of heat

No, Same wattage. And it was a 2.3kw.

It seems alright now that's its up to temp.

Hiya, I'm really sorry to hijack your thread but I'm getting desperate!! I have a Rangemaster Toledo 110 DF oven and according to an electrician we need to replace the heating element in the second oven (the one that isn't fan assisted). The electrician never got back to me to repair it - and I refuse to ring him again about it. Do you know where the element would be in this model? The second oven has a browning element on top, but I need to know if the heating element is on the side or the bottom? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks

Didn't want to start a new thread as I have the same oven and the same problem but can't find the correct element anywhere for the bottom fan assisted oven.
Anyone point me in the right direction ?
