plyed it a few times, its the best around (other than nona and isleworth which are both private) if you are paying the green fee make sure you get on the course early as they have alot of corporate golf which can make afternoon play painfully slow!

Played it loads of time on Tiger Woods Online. I recommend it.

I played it about 10 years ago and was impressed I'd rate it similar to the K-Club Palmer course for difficulty and shot variety however its disappointing in that many part of the course backs onto houses. For pure golf I would highly recommend both courses at Orange County National which host the PGA Q tour finals. http://www.ocngolf.com/ and would be 15-20 miles closer to St Petes

About the same distance the south as Bay Hill is from St Petes there is another magnificent golf course called Old Corkscrew. http://www.oldcorkscrew.com.

This was a regional qualifying course for last years US Open and is superb in that you will play all the clubs in your bag and will test your skills to the limit particularly on and around the greens whereby it can be impossible to get down in two if your in the wrong position. The best part of all is that its in wilderness close to the Everglades surrounded by nothing but nature.

Either way golf is always enjoyable in Florida no matter where you play.

    Enjoy your trip
