Typical just over a year old so no come back and it starts to act up.

Every couple of days when you plug in tv the pic will be fine but there will be no sound once you unplug the sky box for a min then plug it back in it works. having to do this maybe every 3-4 days any ideas what might be causing it or is the box just on its way out??

    thanks

In what way have you got your sky hd box connected to your tv? Is it via HDMI or via a scart cable.

If its by scart then I would suggest checking the pins on both ends of the cable might be bent or perhaps the cable isnt in fully, so give it a gentle push at both ends.

If connected via Hdmi...check how much hard drive space you have left, if you are low on space mightened be a bad thing to delete some recordings you no longer need...
