    I think a good way to stem emigration is to put a massive tax on it.

    maybe we could put royalties on irish coins,anywhere in another country that irish coins are spent we take half of it's value

    No doubt the government would just take all the €28's and use them to as a way to generate more loans leading to a further endless cycle of debt.

    If we can get this 50 billion interest free loan from america. Burn the bondholders and decline the EU/IMF deal. Then go hell for leather whipping our country into shape over the next 2 years.

    Emerge a leaner meaner new country by 2013 and resume borrowing on the international bond markets.
